SKINNING

Skinning (torture through the removal of the skin) was formed in mid- December 2011 in Guimarães . It consisted of Luis Barroso (Drummer Skinning and Daemogorgon , ex: Bloody Tears, Hacksaw, Vrna, Koltum, Infernal Kingdom) and Vitor Lopes (Vocals Guitar, Skinning ex: PosMortiis). On the 23rd December , Skinning records the first song titled "Left to Die " at "Studio 213" produced by Bruno Silva. On December 25th, 2011 the theme is published online on the official band page. "Left to Die " is used to show and promote the music style that the group intends to follow.

In March 2012, Skinning recorded the first EP - Beneath the Scars, containing 5 original songs produced and mastered by Bruno Silva in "Studio 213".

In June 2013, Skinning stoped performing live in order to record the first full lenght album "Cerebral Mutilation" , containing 11 original songs, produced and mastered by Bruno Silva in the "Studio 213".
In January 2014 , the album "Cerebral Mutilation" is published by Raising Legends Records.
In August 2015 Skining comes back again to record “Slaves of Insanity”. Recorded at Raising Legends studios by André Matos and produced and mastered by Bruno Silva.

In 2016 “Slaves of Insanity” is published by Raising Legends Records. Between 2016 and 2018 Skinning promotes the album with live concerts in multiple locations.
In April of 2019 the band returns to the studio to record “Homicidal Experimentations”. A long playing album, recorded at “Hanuman Studio” produced and mastred by Bruno Silva.

The band's sound is death metal based and its core influences are: Vader, Krisiun, Aeon, Cannibal Corpse, Behemoth, Decapitated, Morbid Angel, Deicide, among others.
